| SOUTH FLORIDA BLUE ICE |
WELCOME TO THE BLUE ICE SOFTBALL TEAM The Blue Ice softball team competes in the C Division of the South Florida Amateur Athletic Association (SFAAA) based in the Fort Lauderdale area. The SFAAA was created to provide gay and non-gay participants a chance to play in a softball league that welcomes all. The first season of the Blue Ice was Spring 2007. It was created as an offshoot of the Blues team that has traditionally been at or near the top of its division. The team currently has a roster of 17 players, managers, and coaches. Aside from their success on the field, the team also sports one of the strongest fan bases (including its sister team) in the league. Each game, the bleachers will be filled with fans waving pompoms and shouting encouragement. The atmosphere at the fields is one of family and camaraderie with the other teams. Consider becoming part of our family. Please join us at the fields for an exciting day of softball. All games are played at Mills Pond Park. |
